PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

2005 - current

Program Specialist, Connecticut Office of the Arts, Hartford, CT

Art in Public Spaces: Management of over 50 large-scale public art commissions, the purchase of more than 30 permanent works of art, and the restoration and maintenance of more than 40 public art installations for public buildings.

Connecticut Artists Collection: Oversee a permanent collection of more than 100 works of art for rotating display in publicly accessible buildings.

Grants Administration: Management of the Connecticut Artist Fellowship program, various project grant programs, and support agency programs on an ongoing basis.

Accessibility Coordinator: Carry out requirements of the NEA to support greater ADA access to the arts.

Additional programs and activities include: Serve as the SAA liaison to the CT Folk & Traditional Arts program, support creative economy work through the Arts & Economic Prosperity AFTA studies, oversee the State Poet Laureate position, Creative Aging Teaching Artist Initiatives, and support professional development and partnership activities.
